Finals are right around the cornerr

Here we are getting ready for another set of finals, I can't believe it. This weekend was really fun just staying in watching grey's, bonding with the hall, and catching up on sleep. Tomorrow is the first offical day I need to wear my letters for PSE. I am so so so pumped and cannot believe pledging is over. I guess I should give myself a pat on the back.

Tomorrow is yet another Monday and I am getting to see a lot of people. I have lunch with Jilly, a photoshoot with my group for our video project, and then the Christmas MGL reunion dinner at Scott's house. It's gonna fly by, I can already tell. Hopefully I can successfully make it through my accounting test first :)

lazy sundayyy!

So this weekend was so enjoyable! I have really tried to put asside my one EDUC assignment that I need help on. It was really boggin me down, but I came to terms with completing it tomorrow with help from office hour time. So I just tried to enjoy each day.

FRI --> Hung out with Emily after rehearsal and watched Funny People then went to Cream Off! "Don't blow our cover!"

SAT --> Saw the family and it was so great! It was bitter sweet to perform in my last football game, and I almost lost it during Salvation. After, I showed the family to Taste of Thai for dinner and everyone really enjoyed it. We even took Scott a piece of cake for his birthday! I went out that night with Sara and Kim to Sean and Matt's place. It was fun but not the normal fun haha. There were some creepers and it was clearly "feeding time"! We were home by midnight and went to hang out at festival on the comfy beanbag chairs with some brownie batter ice cream. After we all crashed in my room watching Along came Polly.

TODAY --> The girls and I got brunch and then I relaxed to the latest episode of Grey's which was so so so good! I got started on some work after and then did Adopt-A-Highway with PSE.

So, from here, bring on the last week before break! I'm so ready and only wish I knew which day I was leaving on.

Halloween!

Happy Friday! It is finally Halloween weekend and I'm so excited. I'm in a dilemma today... I went to CIS class that I wanted to skip yesterday so I think I'm gonna skip accounting today to give me more free time (possibly reading haha). Alright, done, I'm gonna do it!

Last night I went to the B.O.B. concert and had a pretty good time. He wasn't as good as I thought he would be and it was in Wilson so just a little strange. Yummy part is that we went to the Dog Pound after. It's sad how we're never over on the main side of campus to enjoy that anymore.

I am so ready for Thanksgiving break! Three weeks! I'm sure it will be here before I know it.

oh, it's only mondayyy

So today was awesome but go go go like always. Bummer is that my computer is oddly not working properly so I have to go take it to the help desk tomorrow. I would have to say my high was hearing Dr. Carrier talk to PSE. He was a precious man who had wise words to say for sure!! My low was probably getting out of bed...hey, that's pretty good for a low, right? haha maybe tomorrow will be better if i get off the computer soon. anyways, just wanted to touch bases and send my blog some love!!

Thursday Talk

So last weekend I had no clue how I would make it through this week. Two tests and two projects were really getting to me as I stared down my planner with brother interviews and so much more scheduled. Sure enough, I should know by now, as you live out the week it's really not as bad as you anticipated. Goes to prove that taking things day by day really does help.

This week started out kind of shaky as I just wasn't feeling into my Monday. I thought I didn't do so hot on my accounting test, things were just awkward with some friends, and I felt like I just wasn't really living the life I want. Well thankfully band was canceled and I could reconnect with my small group. This was something I really needed to reground myself. It's always great to be open and relate to the girls. Tuesday through now have just kind of happened. Time has flown by and it's not stopping haha!

Well, this weekend is camping and PoC so this should be interesting :) I'll try and keep you posted.

Thursday already???

Okay so it's raining today and I was so tempted to skip my morning classes. Thankfully my technology and lit classes are pretty chill. This week has been full of classes, band, brother interviews, and my pledge classes' marketing project presentation. I would have to say my highlight has been hanging out Tuesday night with some friends I hadn't seen in a while. It's always nice to get off campus and realize there is a world outside of this campus bubble. My low would have to be my nerves for my lit midterm on Tuesday. I guess I can be thankful it is over and hope for the best. Dorm life has been pretty chill lately I can just tell that midterms are looming over Sheyda and my heads. Aright I'm in class but will try and touch base soon.

It's almost the weekend!
